Hi. Iam new to this site and iam unsure if iam in the right place to be asking this question. I have what i believe to be an Ammaco team pro from 1984 but i have been lead to believe that its something else. I have owned the bike since 1986 ish. It stood in my parents shed for nearly 25 years and the crome had taken a beating so i recently had the frame power coated as a favour by a good friend. I have over the weekend scrapped off the bottom crank to try and find any numbers but ended up finding them on the rear drop outs. Can anyone shed any light on what bike it is. D3352839 is the code. As i hear it these bikes were mass produced by many different companies and decals stuck to them. I hope someone can help. Thanks Anthony

Hi Ant, I've looked the Ammaco section in the museum on here, and yours certainly bears all the signs of being a Team Pro, there's a few on there to compare with.

Cheers retrodan.
I have see a few bikes posted on here but iam still unsure as my frame numbers dont seem to be a mach when you look on other serial number sites. As far as iam concerned i removed the original decals before powder coating.
I only wish i had taken pictures before i did so as proof.
