Lets get a head count of who stil pops in. Its mainly research and previous threads for me but i do like to see who is till about from time to time
-
meee, usually 3 or 4 times a week, such a shame its so stale on here now,
-
once every couple of months
-
I took a break but much the same as Torkerdude180, a good few times a week and sometimes more. Back to lurking I guess.
-
I get a lot of this too, Midschoolfool's images were always visible, even to guests. Now this…

-
I call in maybe once a week, never been particularly vocal but still here and interested.
-
I check in most days, but I can no longer contribute like I have done in the past. Partly the photo' issue and partly due to a lack of funds for builds.
-
i still check in every day.

The company I hosted them with (imgur) fell out with Kier Starmer. Basically under their new spying laws they wanted Imgur to sign stuff and pay fines etc. So imgur told them to F off and blocked the entire UK.
You can still see the pics with a VPN. If you are on a PC there is a browser called Opera that has a free one. Other than that though? they are pretty much gone now.
-
Yes I am still here fistblump
-
Yeah, I'm still here, or rather, over here (in the Land of the Rising Sun). I check in 2 or 3 times a week and still keep my racing thread going, albeit without photos. :daumenhoch:
-
Every few days I check in.👍👍 would post pics etcetera , but gave up on that, as it ain’t easy now.
-
Good to hear from you all. its a shame there isnt an easy solution to the image issue but short of the site holding all the images, which probably requires huge amounts of money to throw at storage, i suspect it will only get worse. If the site no longer remains as a resource of info it would need a serious boost in daily numbers to keep it viable. My brother rigged something up to save all the images around the photoshop nonsense and when the site crashed but it was a temporary measure and im not sure it can be implemented fully :-\

Just a quick question..... Is the number of guest users, usually between 1000 and 2500,an accurate one?
-
Good question. I noticed when I posted my reply, it was showing over 2000 guests on the site.

Yes ans I deal with about 200/300 applications for new acounts a day. Lots of spammers and bullshido. I think I do well with keeping them out Skint

Keep up the good work, it’s appreciated. Its a shame some of the genuine guests don’t sign up and post a little, that would help this place out :daumenhoch:
-
Probably once every six months just to reminisce on my old builds in 'me and my bikes'. 😊
-
I'm still about, just lol ::) usually look in at least once a week :daumenhoch: still a great font of knowledge for all things BMX in my book :daumenhoch: love looking at all the old builds when my browser lets me see the pics? Hope this place stays for ever and Like others have said in the past would be awesome to see it reserected :coolsmiley: but I fear them days are long gone as imo its the world thats fooked now! :idiot2:

I explained this before but for the cost of a very cheap laptop you can post pics here easily.

It's funny how every one says they miss coming here and posting pics yet for less than a cost of a old school tyre they could. If any of you are interested I can do a guide. But I don't want to waste my time again as I did it before and basically no one used it.

I popped in today. So much better than FB.
-
Well that's it fellas. I am now pretty much bikeless.
I have kept my S&M NBD in case I ever fancy a go, as well as my pink Schwinn, GT race bike and the Supergoose. Everything else is gone. About 20 sets of tyres, 3 sets of wheels, 11 bikes and a F ton of spares and bits.
About 3 weeks ago my boiler blew up. Thankfully I live in rented accommodation but it turned into a nightmare. I had 8 bikes in the way of it (it is a smallish thing inside a cupboard in my bathroom, totally blocked by bikes). Turns out the upper heater shorted and needed replacing. However, I had to get everything out of there. So I had 8 bloody bikes in my bedroom. Which tbh? was so dangerous I had to jump ship and come to my mother's until it was all fixed.
It was virtually hoarding tbh. I don't know why or how I let it get so bad but yeah, the whole lot is pretty much gone from my flat now and the loft here at mum's is pretty much empty.
And holy F does it feel amazing :LolLolLolLol:
It is odd because I painted the Sunday water melon last summer. Literally right at the end of it. I then stashed away everything to turn it into a bike but when May came around and the sun came out? the spark was gone. Just completely gone. It was time.
So the collection is now on its way to rural France. With someone who appreciates it as much as I used to :)

That’s big move but if you’re happy that’s all that matters dude fistblump
Hopefully you’ll still be dropping in here from time to time. Do me a favor though, please add some finished pics of your Battletech to the thread. That beast was f ing awesome. I gulped when I read it didn’t stay with you. All of your builds, posts and content have been fantastic to follow, kudos for all the effort, time and love you put into your bikes.
Look after yourself mate.
Stay RAD :slayer:

Oh yeah I will still stop by dude. It was starting to reach hoarder levels, though. To the point where it was more of a burden than anything else. If anything happens (god bless her) to my mum I would have been absolutely bang in trouble. Fact is I could not shift them all on my own with my arthritis being as bad as it is now.
I still have the feather too, though I did not even ride it once this summer as I was battling a few infections. I did upgrade the cranks on it though to some 5dev knock offs. They look super.

Fair play mate! I try not to hoard but find myself regretting sales when I subsequently need the part that I sold!! ;D
However, I know that I need to offload a bike or three, so will pull my finger out and try to get on with it, though Trump's tariffs have kiboshed shipping to the US at the moment. Thumbs down
-
I didn't keep any parts. Like literally nothing. I knew if I did I would go "Oh look at these grips. I have a bike I could build and put them on". That is how it usually started tbh.
As I said I still have four. My GT Speed, S&M NBD Supergoose and Schwinn. That is more than enough.
-
Nice to see the :lighter: is still burning... alright fellas. ;)
-
I look in occasionally, shame it's so quiet. Did a lot of people end up on Facebook in one place as there seems to be loads of separate groups on there ?
