spot on steve.
thats got to be one of the best resto's of the year.
-
very nice :4_17_5:

-
another class build steve :daumenhoch:
-
exellent,A+ and a gold star
nice balance of colours i'm not a fan of vector bars i think they look out of proportion on most bikes i've seen, but they look spot on on this,
maybe it's the pad or hight of the seat, but what ever it is it's right.
well done that man
-

WoW Steve
I thought that it was going to be a winter project, but it is done and looks a minter in no time.
For me, the signwriting and rarity made it a tough call in whether to restore, but looking at it now, it looks like a brand new Haro and was worth the effort, especially as the serial number is still in clear view.
A very clean build and you even have the tyre logo's over the valve ;) any reason why DX or MKS have not been used though?
The bike of the year and calender should be looking good this year.
Lets not forget that it is one hell of a rare bike, and one that is in the UK!
You must be grinning from ear to ear.

Thanks for all your positive comments guys . . . makes all the hard work worth while :daumenhoch:
It was a tough decision and even though I was committed to restoring the Sport from the outset I have to admit my doubts were strong on the day work started
There was no stopping me though . . . first the correct forks appeared on the bay, then the minty Tuffs and other nice parts came up (huge thanks to Bodamus) and the correct decals were readily available to buy too
For those who haven't seen the pics . . . here's how it was when I got it
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/a217/steve167690/Haro%20Sport/Before.jpg)
I would love to fit a set of DX or MKS but I can't absorb the prices these pedals demand for a minty set . . . maybe one day
Well, I've got the Haro bug now and I'm looking forward to the next one which should be complete soon too :)
