I bought this F&F a few years ago and built it up briefly but it got dark holed untill a couple of days ago when in my boredom I stripped down my PK20 and swapped the stuff over.
What do you guys think??
I rode it for half an hour today and it feels very different to what I am used to

That looks sooo cool. I'd try to get some gum wall tires on it myself, would like real OS then... But it does look sweet. Never finished my one properly, i'm after a set of the forks yours has, with the welded pegs...

Very nice. maybe the bars are a little low for me but it looks awsome. :daumenhoch:

As nobody was interested in mine at the time it looks like I'm keeping it a while longer.
I do like the way that very few Starskys were ever the same though, mine's a one off.

is it not the same geometry as the PK?
looks nice though mark ;)
-
Thanks everyone for the nice comments,
Bob the Starsky is 2" shorter in the to tube and feels like the head angle is steeper too
:) DINGO :)

i take it they stopped making the kappas,as the pk20 is growing on me.
-
Dan,
Kappa have a habit of doing limited runs, Starskys were done two years running (2003 and 2004) with loads of options so not many are the same and the PK20's were a one off run with only 21 being made (Perry Kramer got #21 so only 20 for the public market)

thanks for the info bro ,ffs why only so little spec when dan wants one .
-
Scott still has 2 Starsky frames here www.kappabmx.com
:) DINGO :)

I heard kappa were a bit unreliable at the moment, order wise. Something on OS about it a while back.
-
i really like the look of these bikes, but remember riding graemes at rom a few years back and thinking, fook this bike feels tiny.
