Just checked the pics again.... I don't know how he did it, but Dan has managed to make the park look fairly quiet... :LolLolLolLol:
But believe me, it was VERY packed today. I think it may have been the busiest I have seen it since my comeback a few months ago. A lovely day too, you wouldn't have thought it was November would ya?

How does that place survive all you guys tearing it up like that? Yeah, that's a good old-school turnout. Why, there's gotta be more than 200 years BMX experience there! Billy, is Joestup your boy?
-
Great pics - looks like loads of fun......you lot are really ripping that place up - I love the pics of the gap jumps in the performance bowl, I used to love it when a session got going where everyone rolls in the Performance and jumpse the gap. I remember bitd following Charlie Reynolds and saw he crossing up his bars as he rolled in the bowl...very cool.
The pool pics are sweet too, great x-up my son. Overhang and coping - not an easy bowl to get air in :4_17_5:
-
Any chance of some directions? I was in the area but all the locals just gave me blank looks when I asked them where the park was? One said it was near the YMCA , is that right?
Cheers, JB :D
-
i'm loving that !!!
keep up the sunday morning sesh pics.
all the riders done the place proud.
-
Feck chaps...some nice air had! I thought it was 1984 again... :daumenhoch:

Great pics Dan , I am gonna make it up there for one last time before I leave the country in eighteen months. I love the pics of the pool, that is so hard to ride. It looks like the kids are really going for it :daumenhoch:.

Joe Stup, your looking good man, I love the fact that your goofy foot like your Dad, funny how the family genes work. Goofy foot makes for wicked lookbacks - Todd Anderson from Camarillo, Ca used to push them so far round it was sick.
Bill - Great to see you giving it some too, looking good - must feel great to ride with your son, I can't wait to ride, skate, surf with my son, he's only 2 so it'll be a while.
Goofy lookback by Jon Pratt - (don't let the name fool you)

Did you know, I noticed that for the first time on Sunday. Was going to mention it. Looks like you beat me to it. ;D
-
gotta say thanks to everyone replying to my pics, as you may know i take a lot of my boy little billybmx for my old years when i can look back and compare my old skool pics to his, with us both arguing who went the highest ;D like i was saying to the oldies on sunday, you pull the trick, i'll get the pic ;) love taking them and since i can't ride through breaking my leg its the next best thing
-
Get back on a bike, you know you want to. ;)
-
i must admit i was shocked to see you meddle aswell mate lol
glad you back in the saddle mate
-
agree with you bro seeing the Medalion back in the seat was great, take my hat off to you bro
-
Yeah Damon, I'm thinking the same thing. My boy is 2 1/2 and I will be too psyched if he takes to BMX and I can still do some stuff at that time. Joe/Billy I'm sure you know it but that is way too cool that you guys ride together. Man, I feel super lucky to have had the GG park scene but I can't imagine having had access to a park like that all those years.
Man, I always liked the goofy foot style too - Todd A., Bob Kohl, Stephen Prantl. Shredders all.

I couldn't wait, doctors said January but I felt that I was ready, plus the physio said it will help with my recovery. What more reason did I need?

The only problem with riding with Joe is that he`s better than me ;D
