That's a good question. Is there much of an old boys racing scene going on? I would like to get involved aswell (Have to get a bike first!!).

Unfortunately Chris you are going to have to go at least
50 miles as the local tracks are Bournemouth and Andover,
i am from Southsea and have just got bitten by the racing
bug again, have you been in Gosport long if so do you
remember me as i raced there 20 odd years ago, welcome
by the way Kev Ranscombe.

darren is up in havent but not far away.

as for the ukbmxa and all the other ones they ended up becomming one and joining british cycling a few years ago. any way there is membership and there are different levels depending upon how much racing and what level racing the costs vary. from £11.50 to about £90 the basic £11.50 one plus a membership to a club is all you need to race regional events and be coverd by the insurance. many clubs was given free british cycling memberships to encourage new members this year so that could save you £11.50 just get intouch with any of the clubs in the south region or myself pm, me and ill send you my contact details

darren has been in touch as well him and old man kev are both local to me,
