I'm sure most of you know this, but for those that don't, here's a bit of trivia regarding that Pepi clip.
Although he is kitted out in the Ammaco gear, he was actually riding for Vincent Frames at the time. The reason for that was as you'll all know, that was from the BMX Beat final in 1985. After the riders had completed their flatland runs, it started to rain. This therefore postponed the freestyle run (a mixture of flat and ramps). It had to be rescheduled for a later date. Between the two filmed dates, Pepi signed for Vincent, but Border TV and UKBMX wanted continuaity and made him ride in the Ammaco gear. The bike was a completely different setup though. Also all five finalists appeared to have learnt a whole new lot of tricks in the "five minute bmx beat teach-in interval" :LolLolLolLol:
To those of you read that without falling asleep, I thank you... ;D

I know most tricks had several names to begin with, but Andy Ruffell's commentary is like another language ! I'm so used to decades, maybe even vertical boomerangs, but wrap around? Backwards cherrypicker? I'd forgotten tricks had names like that. :D
