Well my friend got me this, and its a beauty. I just polished it up, and man its a nice survivor. I really dont know why these werent more popular back in the day, because they were DP type prices, but they were reynolds 531 frames, and its very very well made. The welds really do surpass any DP i have ever seen. I also seem to remember they were made in the U.K. :)

Bitd,If I remember correctly ::) If you had an idea/design for a frame or bars and put it to rebel they would build/make it for you if it was do-able and you could pay for it ;) Here is my Bro's old Rebel he had back in 1983/4 :daumenhoch:

Hi, this is my first post here. I've been looking around, trying to find pics of Rebel frames and just came across this thread. I had a Rebel Freestyler back in the day, identical to the twin toptube one shown in the first photo. So good to see it. I wanted to replace the frame and forks on my Falcon Pro Macho. I got mine from the Bmx shop that used to be near The Levels in Brighton. I went there to get a TRM but they didn't have one so I bought the Rebel instead. It was great. I had yellow Skyways with a coaster, Tioga triangular section crank, Tuf Nek chain wheel & seat clamp, Skyway EZ bars (I think), tried CW and Vector copies for a while. Originally I used the OGK's that I had but I swapped them for the Skyways on my mate's Burner, still can't believe he fell for that one! Happy times. We used to spend lots of time at Surrey BMX/Skateboards in Woking, used to ride Guildford youth centre quarter pipe, that sort of thing. In the end I sold it as I got seriously into skateboarding. Does anyone out there own a chrome twin-toptube Rebel Freestyler with yellow Skyways & coaster?!!!! I don't have a photo but I just wanted to say hi and thanks for sharing those Rebel photos :)
p.s. I still ride 20" at 35 years old and I so tempted to go old school after seeing that Rebels are still around!
