Sweet pics. I love the ROM one too. His foot is right on the lip, it's a cool trick. Love the look of that white TA with blue ST's. Scrap the platform though, those were well dodgy.

keyhole extension was definately put on in 85 ready for kos , the reason why it was put on apparently was for neil and craig because they couldnt air it as well as some others could, and being pro class they would have looked a bit silly being britains top riders only getting 5ft when the amateurs were going higher, but it was also put there for them to practice , for the usa kos in pipeline in which craig done very well.............  :4_17_5:

Killer footplants. I've seen them before but they are good to see again.
I have my own version on a bank in Sydney.

Ah, BITD I saw Craig doing a footpant on the ramp to my driveway and was then inspired. Tried to do loads variations, can-cans, tried one handers, anything - not all successful though !  ;D

Craig did these the best.  Ive never seen anyone in all the years do downside's as good even on the 7ft extension 22 years ago... Shit i had to work that out 22 years ago a downside footplant 7 ft up the extension...

Now dont get me wrong, Campbell ruled! The bowls are Rom and Southsea are big beasts and not many people came close to him riding them ...  but I always thought he could have stretched his footplants a little more. Heres the Vert Squert with a stretch that would make Dave Lee Roths eyes water!

Oh, as for Campbells downside footplant on the footslap board at southsea, Untouchable! That trick was "trendy" a few years ago and no-one mentioned Campbell doing it back then! Im sure he was the first, and only one to do that trick for ages. So so good. Didnt he also do a top side can can foot slap in the same run?

this is a cool picture   BUT unless you have been to rom you cant really appreciate how fooking high he is there, that photo dont really do him justice or the performance bowl

trust me it looks higher than that in the flesh  ;D

Tell me 'bout it! I have been to Rom a few times and struggle to get close to the top of the bowl! It blowes me away when I see pics of people getting big air out of it, esp when the pics are from 84!!!
