yep. if u can remember me :LolLolLolLol: apprantly theres a new park where the old paddlin pool was next to the old halfpipe not sure if its any good though.

Hi all,
Yeh i  used to skate Chingford with all the riders...best scene. Hello to anyone that rode or skated Chingford ...many fab memories inc. Laney, Ted the 'top loader' Paul Wright, Jon etc.......and  erm..burning the quarter pipe!

Yeah - Chingford, that was my fav. halfpipe to ride. Great scene!! Paul Wright is the man, he lives in Orange County with his wife and 2 boys, Treat and Indy, great bloke, he still skates and rips too!. I'll have him get on the forum and say hello. Went there long after the jams to ride the midi. Learned to carve instead of going straight up & down, under Andy B.'s expert tuition.
John Dye, Pants, Sean Scarfe and a couple of locals hung round, the ramp had been moved & rebuilt by that time. This'd be about the Summer of 1990 or 91.
Is that Larry Bull next to Graham Marfleet?

i remember slamming on the 1/4 pipe there and making a big hole in it.  i walked away quietly and nobody noticed the hole..  :angel:

loved chingford, it used to take me 3 1/2 hours to get there on train , it changed a few times .
i remember jon dye paul wright ,laney, cecil, and the club chegwin thing !
so many good comps there and knarly riding.
i liked it when paul made whole halfpipe the same hieght it was rad for carving whole ramp, and when it rained every body hid under ramp
i bumped into carter, nathan and frenchie at awedding , any one remember them ?

it was at nathans wedding , about year  ago , carter lives in liverpool, frenchie lives in margate , nathan lives in maidstone and toby christian has just moved to inverness
