Nearly there now ... just waiting for new pedals, cables and a chain to arrive

Those are the nicest metal flange white tuffs I've ever seen. I would love to just have one set in that condition.

i know the platform on the back of my 1984 us one is longer and the jap ones were a little shorter.
the taiwan poo ones have no extension at all.
can you see a baseball after the serial number?

It's hard to tell mate and almost impossible to see anything through the powder
The rear caliper bridge is "HUTCH" stamped if that helps ... I know nowt about Hutch idendity :-[

Thanks for the link Scott ... some interesting reading there which would indicate mine is a Jap made frame
I'm still a "happy chappy" though no matter where the frame was originally made :daumenhoch:

I've had more fun building the Hutch than any of my other bikes as most of the parts were used and lovingly restored. It was defo worth the extra effort and I'm well chuffed with the finish so far
I'll post more pics once I've fitted the remaining parts

Hey Steve - that's lovely mate...Hutch's are the Rolls Royce of Freestyle. Pure class.
Hutch Hound, your Candy Red bike is mental, I always love the Candy Apple Red frames, nothing better in my mind.
