lol lots of burner wheels!!!
i don't hate tuffs as much as you would all like to think
it's just that tuffs never had the 100% saturation of the market
in the era i rode (83 to 89) they were left over burner wheels with fooked hubs
the mags used to say "you have to have tuffs to do freestyle" at first though
i'd like some tuffs sometime. but i aint paying out a lot of money for them.
i still want some six spoke ones though :)
-
that aint good grae cos 2 of them were on them old tat ripper bikes lol
-
lol tat ripper bikes
the looptail ones werent so good but the later ones with the decent dropouts were good!!
i always wanted a ripper as a nipper
i had no concept of how flimsy they were - just that they were coooool
-
i still want some six spoke ones though :)
there was some white ones pn eGay a couple of weeks ago, don't think they sold though :-\
-
i won't pay much for them, as i think they are shite
but they suit a certain bike i am building. plus they are a cheap alternative to alloys
-
I've just managed to get myself a set of yellow alloy hubbed tuffs, just go to restore them first though. :daumenhoch:
And a minty mint black set. :daumenhoch:
-
I'll have to take a pic of the inside of my trailer in the morning!!
I've got TONS of 'em! LOL!
