Title: new chatham skatepark!

a new concrete and wooden park is to be built in chatham, kent.
on jacksons fields next to the college.

about time, gillingham went in 1987!    :daumenhoch:

That's great news, what with the new concrete park at Dartford opening in 3 weeks time too.

They mentioned Jackson park skatepark a while back but there were concerns with emergency access , but nothing has been said , cant wait if it is going to happen

The dartford park is in Central Park, Dartford.  I don't know much else about it yet but I can't wait to give it a go.

i only live 7 miles from maldon and to the  best of my knowledge there aint no skateperk there in the prom

jimwises father inlaw owns a shop on the prom so im sure he would have heard something

Aye it's central park, i went down and had a look at it last week. looks cool, like a horse shoe shaped bowl with a big jump box across the middle of the U. Shame i won't be about when it opens :(

I can be seen some Sunday afternoons riding my old school down there.

i live & work in maldon.heard the rumour from a guy that works for the council,don't know if it's true or not but they have been spending a lot of money at the prom. there are a few ramps over near the tennis courts. i will try & get more info

a new facility is being planned following the removal of the old equipment. in partnership with the friends of promenade park a pubic consultation is being carried out to discover what young people want from the new skate park and its best location. for futher details contact peter garrett on 01621876240.  well thats what  maldon council say, it sounds like it will probably be a couple of milk crates & a scaffold plank.  but i think i will still give mr.garrett a bell tomorrow.
