Right guy's the next round of the Hersden Old School Summer series is taking place at Kent's Premier BMX track and as you guy's have already done two rounds and will also race at our final round in September then there's an ideal opportunity to race for the points and carry of an end of season plate.
With 3 rounds remaining we're only half way through the season and there's plenty of points up for grabs. Efectively you guy's are only going to have missed one round, and as you have to drop your worst finish or non score your effectively going to be racing in the whole series. That way you get to race in two championships this year. :daumenhoch:
The remaining rounds are as follows:
15th July
12th August
16th September
Here's the points as they stand after round 3. There's 3 OSSS riders that could carry off any of the top 3 plates. :daumenhoch:
1 Zippy 103
2 Rusty 80
3 Xtreme perv 66
4 Region 11 50
5 TE Harve 45
6 Tim O 'Regan 36
7 Fiolas Lovechild 34
7Buckmore Bat 34
9 Muttley 32
10 KDW 31

Zippy, instead of all this training you've been doing ... Could you not nick a bit of that field behind the Hersden track n make it a bit bigger during your spare time??
:LolLolLolLol:

I'll be back for this one, missed too many races already this year.
-
Me and Zipps were talking about this earlier, and I think its a great idea to do two championships this year, and the more we race that bloody track eventually we can knock the grin off Zipps face >:D >:D.
Im in, anyone else?

Be good to see all of you down there racing.

It's on my calendar so count me in. I hope to get down there Wednesday of next week for a session as well, call it practice if you must!! Unfortunately won't be down this week as the nice people I work for have seen it necessary for me to drive to Holland for a couple of days. Humps

I have one you guys can view on the day. Plus a full list of the Hersden Summer Series Points table in scoring order, this involves something like 36 riders.
Put a thread in the BMX RACING section mentioning pre registration for 15 July. same drill as before names and plate numbers via pm to TK the MIC

Come on everyone it's not like you don't need the practice is it. :LolLolLolLol:

So with the unfortunate cancellation @ Bulwell does this mean a vastly improved grid for Hersden tomorrow?? Weather forecast is, as ever, indifferent and hopefully wrong in favour of a dry day. See you there. Humps

Guys, I am going to pass, I have just got home from a badbmx demo and I am finished, I nust have raced about 40 races today, have a great day tomorrow, we will see you all at daggers next week, or at hersden in September :daumenhoch:
-
Good sesh guys, sun was out and everything went well :daumenhoch:

Yes it was another good session at Hersden today and despite the wetness the track rode really well, well after we'd nursed it back to health with some sweeping and top-surface rearrangement. As ever Tony & Justin hung it all together magnificently with a decent burgervan in attendance too with iced cans of drink. Got sunburn and currently getting nagged by the missus for not putting suncream on. I maintained my almost unbeaten record of last places and guaranteed last place in the series. Do I care?? No, just nice to be out there riding. Humps

yeap once again maximum fun under the sunny skies of Kent
Al the B final wasn't the same without you there
big bully elbows glendower was leaning on me and then
meddle tried to clip my ear with his bar end over the doubles
class day cheers justin and tony and the hersden crew
