Title: New park, 10 mins from my work *RIDING PICS ADDED*
Post by: SaMAlex on July 10, 2007, 01:40 PM: I know I am pretty much out of touch with everything at the moment but this weekend I read in my local paper that there is a new skatepark about to open in the town where I work. I just went to check it out and its not bad. Way better than the "1/4 at each end, box in the middle" crap that lay unused everywhere. There are at least a few lines to be had, and a few areas to session. I will probably bring my bike in with me before the end of the week and have a little roll about (Im still acheing from racing at MK on sunday).

The park is in Abingdon, which is on the A34, about 5 miles south of Oxford. It isnt actually open yet, but will be in the next few weeks. Building got held up cos of all the rain.
