Post by: se bikes on July 23, 2007, 11:45 AM
Following the recent theft of my Staats and acquisition of a sexy Brew Custom Build (thanx Roonga) i'm looking into having some form of tracking device fitted to the bike.

If anyone has any experience of these, i.e best buys, fitting etc can they pm me pls :daumenhoch:

Nikki, found this. Should be okay as the locator is quite small.

You need to be within 600ft though  :-[

But it can alert you when it leaves a designated area.

I wanted a tracker device fitted to my horse trailer but the trouble is, they need a good source of battery power to be really effective (like in a car), to cover long distances.
