Once again well done evryone!! :daumenhoch:

I have absolutely no idea how I ended up in 9th above riders like Craig Schofield and the guy on the Floval Flyer (Julian Allen?). I'm well chuffed.
I know I enjoyed racing OS more than I would have enjoyed racing the cruiser in 30-39 (though I might have been tempted to jump or manual a bit more stuff on the cruiser) but riding a 20" for the first time in over 2 years felt weird, as did the flexiness of the old school machine.
-
Mike the reason was the three ex pros all pulled up in the semis, just before the finish line, They didnt want to stop others from making the final. A fine gesture on a fantastic day. :daumenhoch:
-
Then I applaud them for their sportmanship (and making me look better than I am ;))
It's a shame you guys won't be at the Southern Champs. You put on a good show :daumenhoch:
-
I'd love to go if there was an old school gate.
-
Fook it, i'm there, lets get a thread going, i'll post now Mike is it 23rd Sept ?

We have been asked by a few if we are going, but Im sure we have a race somewhere else, wheres the OSS secretary >:D
-
Southern Champs is Sept 9th in Bournemouth.
-
I would definatly race at bournemouth if enough of us were going :daumenhoch:
Racing at national tracks can only make us better at other tracks ???
-
Did anyone else spot that in the Autumn National Series there's a class for 42+ !! Even some of you "old" riders wouldn't be eligible for that!! :D Humps

Top fun and great racing fellas, we must do again sometime
Was great to meet all you 'old' buggers too!!!
My OS bike, not touched for 20 years, not serviced and it still rode sweet (if a little bit flexy! )
And Stephen Murray’s Dad saying a few words before the main. Respect
-
bravo to you all for the great effort guys n girls.
-
Best days racing I've had in the 18 months I've been racing. Lined up on the gate with ex-pro's and then watching them fly down the first straight. Meeting Stephen Murrays dad and having him start the final was a highlight.
Track was as scary as fook too start with but seemed to get easier with every lap. :LolLolLolLol:
Thanks to the sportsmanship of the 3 who pulled up :4_17_5:
-
so cool to see the os at the brits, would love to do more of this, but not much going on up here. would like to see it tagged on with nationals. would b cool on a saturday night all proceeds to charity.
-
It was indeed the best days racing and the atmosphere was great.
I'd do nationals if they had an Old School gate.
