Title: Points table for the OSWS07 South region FINAL RESULTS POSTED

Final results table for the OLD SCHOOL WINTER SERIES 2007/2008

The table includes everyone who raced including those who never paid, so the actual number plate issue will not include these people. I will order the plates and tee shirts this week, and sort out a presentation for the OSS at Dagenhams regional race in March daumenhoch

Thanks to everyone who took part, everyone who supported us and lets make the summer one even better. Also thanks to the tracks that also supported the old school.
Special thanks to Mike at Dialled bikes, Big Daddy Plates and RADBMX who helped make it happen. 2008 will bring some changes, hopefully for the better.
Lets get some new blood in to replace the riders that have progressed into new school cruisers and even 20". Good luck this season guys, make us proud.

Yep, it includes Rd1 points and Rd2 double points.

Now you mention it, I think I got 35 at Hersden but only 32 for Daggers.

Mike dont worry, a couple of them above you are hersden riders and dont think they will make too many more rounds.
Looking at the rounds though; looks like every week for 5 weeks between Daggers and Braintree, think my brownie points will run out before the series is over, unless I get some serious DIY done.
Although off to Skaterham next Saturday night :10_2_12:

Well guys, I thought I had a real chance of taking this series till I broke my thumb. Whats made it worse is a lump of bone seems to have moved this week, Im off to the hospital in the morning but it looks like my attempt at number 1 is over this year :'(

It's all good Gary.  I've missed a few rounds so not that fussed about final ranking.  It'd be nice to make a few more A-finals though.  Looking forward to the next 2 rounds at Daggers.  Not ridden there for a while, but always enjoy it.

Is it 5 or 6 more rounds to go?

With 3 of the Top 5 out for the rest of the series, looks like Gary Porter is hot favourite to take the No.1 plate if he attends all rounds.  Could get interesting for the No.1 if Gary misses a round or two and Steve, Lee and Tony 796 place consistently high in A-Finals.

The battle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th looks like the most interesting as the points currently stand.

I'll be trying to reel Chris Peal and Matt Oaten in to sneak into the Top 10.

Can anyone enlighten me as to how the points are calculated? I've read this thread and seen that a) you need to be entered for the series to score, b) round 2 was double points and c) you can get bonus points for dressing up like a fool at certain rounds.  :LolLolLolLol:. But I can't figure what each position scores/how far the points go down to etc.

1st = 50
2nd = 47
3rd = 44
4th = 41
5th = 38
6th = 35
7th = 32
8th = 30

then down in 2's

Entry to the series is subject to the fee (£17.50) this includes your end of series trophy, plate and shirt :daumenhoch:

On the note of fees can anyone who wishes to be included in the points for overall rankings and eligible for plate/shirt pm me or Ratty asap and see us with fees this weekend at Daggers (if you haven't already paid) :daumenhoch:.  Plate designs have been finalised, shirts to follow :daumenhoch:

The final day for payment for entry into the series is THIS Sunday at Dagenham

As for dressing up like a fool for extra points, if you need points then hell yeh, sell your soul to the devil  :LolLolLolLol:

Final results table for the OLD SCHOOL WINTER SERIES 2007/2008

The table includes everyone who raced including those who never paid, so the actual number plate issue will not include these people. I will order the plates and tee shirts this week, and sort out a presentation for the OSS at Dagenhams regional race in March :daumenhoch:

Thanks to everyone who took part, everyone who supported us and lets make the summer one even better. Also thanks to the tracks that also supported the old school.
Special thanks to Mike at Dialled bikes, Big Daddy Plates and RADBMX who helped make it happen. 2008 will bring some changes, hopefully for the better.
Lets get some new blood in to replace the riders that have progressed into new school cruisers and even 20". Good luck this season guys, make us proud.

South Region Final Results are up on http://www.ossbmxracing.co.uk

They need checking by Ratty to make sure I haven't messed them up.

Also BMXMatt74 is in last place, so eveyone below him is moved up by one.    His number plate was 74 and he ended up on 74 points when he didn't even race.  So Nil Points.

Sent a PM to Ratty explaining this.   If the BMXMatt74 did race then Ratty's messed up somewhere.

Anyway have a look?

For the summer series I will update the results on a race to race basis

Hey tone i raced at braintree and got 4th in final and te-harve raced at daggers and got 2nd,did you mean people who only did one ropund and didn't pay would be included in final standings  ???

Dagenham - Round 9 only seems to have points for the A Final and nothing for the B.
