how many different frame sets did rickman make.ive got a freestyler f+f and bars.but i dont think ive seen another frame by them.from what orb tells me hey were quite a good bike in the day,so why havent i seen another model.
-
the rear foot pegs on the freestylers are great for removing ya shoes.
ask phil oberon :2funny:.
they did a race bike aswell i think.
-
Dave's correct, they did make a race frame as well.
Although the freestyler remained essentially the same design, there were variations on the same theme. I'm not sure if these were custom requests or 'factory options'. e.g. no built in fork/frame standers, extra brace tube between seat-tube and down tube.

I've got one back at my folks house that I'm going to rebuild when I've finished my cruiser.
I remember ordering it back in the day and I think the only options were welded fork and frame standers. Also I think the only made white and chrome?
Does anyone think they could become quite a rare bike? Haven't seent that many around.

my mate had one in 85 that was lavendar, and had the extra tube

Not seen a Lavender one... must of been a custom order.
Mine is white with no add-ons. Can't wait to get it built up. I've got some photos of it when I first built it up and it looked real nice. All white.
-
it was from the factory
i think they would pretty much paint it whatever colour you asked for
lavendar was a cool colour at the time!!!

I remember seeing a lavender one with the extra tube on ebay a while back. Very nice it was too.
