Just over a year ago, when I first found radbmx and read that Billy Stupple was involved, it wasn’t pictures of massive hip hanging airs or skyway shows that sprang to my mind, it was this pic. Last week I was flicking through a magazine and found it so I thought Id post it. Oh the irony of the caption. I don’t think there is anyone else who got a photo in that magazine that is still riding!!!

Classic, i was there that day.
It was in the car park a few doors down from Schofield Cycles (Craig and Gary's shop) Well, outside ABBA signs in fact. Hence there sticker on the QP.
I spent a lot of time in that shop after school and saturdays, as it was only a 5min ride from my house.
I can remember it like it was yesterday........not 25 years ago

That pic was taken in the warm up to a demo that me and Chris did at the opening of Schofield Cycles, it was before I could get my hands on a coaster tuff, hense the reason for a rear `z` rim which I laced a coaster into.
The thing was they took loads of pics of the demo when I had full protection on, and then printed that one from the warm up :( Mind you I was still well pleased :daumenhoch:
That mag came out whilst we were doing the 83 European tour, and the then Skyway MD Dean Ellison wasn`t that pleased when he saw it :LolLolLolLol:

Bill, you make it sound like a paparazzi snap. Like a shot of a football player getting pi55ed the night before a big game.
I loved that you had a front tuff and rear spoked. I just thought it was a style thing. You were busting out 90s bike fashion in the early 80s!

The thing was Alex that after Bob Haro had blown us all away at the NEC everybody wanted a rear coaster tuff, where as a week before nobody wanted one, but that ment they were in short supply untill they were shipped over from the States ::)

after Bob Haro had blown us all away
Haha, what a thing to be able to say. I dont recon there are many people riding today who rode with Haro. That rad!
