Hi all,
Just driven over to Dagenham this morning to have a 1st spin round the track. All closed!
Wanted to have a go with nobody watching the 'novice'.
Hopefully I can get along on 23rd to see the real pro's at it. May inspire me to have a crack next year!

We had to unlock all the gates when we went over for training on Saturday, track looks as though the locals have been going round it on a minimoto again so we think council have locked the gates to keep them out xx
-
Hi Scotty, yes unfortunatley the council keep the tracl locked up for the most part becuase of local oikes!! But tbh the fence isn't that hard to get over with a BMX ;) >:D
But I didn't say that obviously :LolLolLolLol:
Gutted I can't make the whole day on Sun, gotta go and pick the in-laws up from the airport, but will be there in morning to help set up.

Hi Paul
Thanks for info. I won't be racing tomorrow, I've got no gear and would be a tad nervous about going in with the pro's!
Will I be able to just have a spin round the track before the racing without registering?
Cheers
Scotty

I should be there. I have suffered from a serious case of man flue this week and was stuck in bed for 4 days! i still dont feel 100% but I should still be there, as long as I dont drink toooooooo much tonight
-
Sorry guys but cant make it as have xmas family plans :'( hope you have a good time

Cheers to the Dagenham Posse for a typically festive day out. Some good races, good fancy dress and Miles K.

I can make out Miles, Martin Parker and James Goodwin through the gloom. Where were you Jools?? B Final?? ;D ;) Looks decidedly misty and was probably similar weather to Bexleyheath where it stayed misty/foggy and freezing all day. Well done to everyone who took part. Humps
-
Look again Alan, Jools is in that pic :daumenhoch:
-
Thanks to everyone who made the effort on a truly poxy day. It managed to stay 1 degree above freezing all day. I didnt see a lot of the racing as I helped with registration, but what I did see was action packed.
Big mention to BMX Matt and Debs who made the journey from the Midlands, hope you got home safe :daumenhoch:
Nikki is doing the pictures we got and I will get the results up soon.
-
cheers tone, got home after 5 half hours!!!
good to catch up with ya, be good to race when can actually see the track without the fog :daumenhoch:

A Great Day :daumenhoch:
-
Hi all,
Glad I came and had a look and a quick go around the track, even though I didn't race and on my second practice go I stacked it on the final series of jumps! (Jeans now in the bin!).
I'm not going to blame the Burner, just a novice getting it wrong!
Hopefully I'll be back for another crack soon!

Should have kept the jeans mate... come in handy for patching the next pair you rip a knee out off.

How cool are the kids in the fancy dress :daumenhoch:
Looks like a great day, some good pics too. That fog looks like a right pea souper...
