-
haha I had been down there an hour before you turned up and I was fooking freezing. Did any one else turn up today?
-
Yep, fooking loads of us :daumenhoch:
-
It was a good training session once CK got us warmed up.
Only downer was the wind which made jumping and manualling a bit sketchy and riding down the 4th straight into a head wind was knackering.
Good fun doing lap times and Bill Stup's stealth move on the last berm took me by surprise :daumenhoch:
I think Bill got 44.7 seconds and I got 45.07.

Yeah sorry about the shunt Mike, I just need to learn a decent line in that first berm :idiot2:
-
How many times have I showed you that line Bill?? bloody useless :2funny:
-
I just keep going too high and wide Tone, then everybody cuts underneath me, and although I`ve got more speed there`s nowhere to go :(

Billy mate, no apology necessary, that's racing. Great recovery from you on that lap to take the win. You'll be another second quicker when you master two pedal starts/snapping out of the gate.
-
Next time we go over together it wil be good to practice that line, Daggers first berm is a pain because of the shape and the bottle neck. you really wanna be tight in the corner and then stay as tight as you can :daumenhoch:
-
That first berm is the only negative thing about Daggers. Berm needs to be moved about 6-10 feet to the left so that the guys in lanes 1 to 4 have something to turn on.
Other than than, Daggers is one of my favourite tracks. I always enjoying riding/racing there.

The trouble with me is that I feel I have to use the berm or otherwise I`m just going to wash out :idiot2:

Thats the skillfull bit Bill, try it in practice with your leg out, then as you get confident then keep your feet on an go for it. The cornering is the only real skill I still had left from bitd, everything else has come hard :daumenhoch:
