Title: I bought this...Updated
Post by: Broggie on April 05, 2008, 06:09 PM
I really want to do old school racing, I'm too old for NS racing.  TBH I just want a laugh, a barbeque and a beer with you guys. competition is not a requirement at this time, only to be part of the os scene and have a life other than work...
What do you think?

You'll have to get a refund.  The TT is bent!!! :LolLolLolLol:

It looks good and is a steal at £46.

Which OS Region are you going to race in?

Picked it up today, the chrome is in pretty good condition, few minor scuffs but should polish up just great.  The decals have had their day, so its either get some new ones (anyone know where), leave it as a polished survivor or just take them off.  Most of the parts are original and it looks to be around a 1995...same as this one (no this isnt the one i bought) (http://bmxmuseum.com/image/wh_004_lg.jpg)
All it really needs are some grips, pedals and plate...it should make a good ride once I've polished and serviced it.

I'm sure Del could make up repros of those stickers no problem, and probably in any colour you fancy  :daumenhoch:

As of today...

With a little love, polishing, removing of decals, spare seat off an 06 sport ,new grips and crappy old welgo pedals...it starts to get there...

I decided to keep the flaming skull, village idiot, and american flag decals that a previous owner had stuck on as I feel they give the bike character...

I'm just waiting for a decal set like this

in mid blue with black borders to go on the frame...

I know the decals wont be period correct, but I prefer the earlier ones TBH...so for the purists out there  >:D
