I've just got my wheels back from being trued up so my Ruff Replica Goose is nearing ever closer to completion. I just thought I'd share a few pics with everyone of the build so far. I'm just waiting for my silver Tech3's to come back from the anodisers (damn sight cheaper than buying NOS blue ones), and an ESP stem and, apart from some blue Mongoose grips (which I am reliably informed are soon to be reissued by Mongoose) the bike is as good as done. Del has also sorted out some new stickers for the helmet and plate, just to get them spot on :daumenhoch:

Looks awesome...you gotta love a goose :4_17_5:
Is that a straight renthal seatpost you've got in it or a cut down layback? and where did you get that minty blue viscount aero with the BMX lettering? Superb :daumenhoch:

Awesome. ;)

Thanks for the comments guys. Like I say, there's a few bits left to get, just to finish it off properly. The seat isn't a Viscount I don't think, I picked it up on ebay last year for about £15. Renthal post is an old straight one courtesy of phantom photon :daumenhoch: I was going to cut my layback but Iain came up trumps. He also gave me the DC brake pads. Other rad members played a hand in my build: jimwise68 (frame/forks/headset), kuwahero (crank, bottom bracket), jimmyp (decals for forks, rims & back of seat), Del (helmet & plate decals), sawzall (proclass decals and Mongoose helmet peak), phippsio (blue MX1000's), pimpmeister (padset), and my mate Kenny S who gave me the TufNeck stem, '83 GT Pro bars and ProClass rims. Future thanks go to Gossa and customparts ;) The rest of it was sourced from Biagio (seatclamp, grips), Rudewheels (tyres, hubs, spokes) and the pedals came from the states

Does anyone know where Ruffell's Opel Manta is? It still seems to be registered with DVLA - reg A771MKP. How cool would that be, turning up at MK in Ruff's old car :)
