Me and my merry band of Old Fools BMX Roadtrip attendees will be staying in Romford PremierInn on Mercury Way on Friday 25th and sat 26th April [fri and sat coming] and we are riding rom park on the sunday...
Are there any Radsters who are up for joing us , and showing us where to have a drink or two on the fri/sat night? there will be about 30 odd of us I think. Could be more, could be less.
See in the meetings/gatherings section on this site for a rundown of what the trip is about...
I wont actually be able to reply to any messages as Im now off to Spain until thursday night, but just thought Id see if anyones a Rom local, and hope to see you on the weekend!

im local to romford but would recomend drinking somewere else lol
used to a good night out but get loads of trouble .
plus most pubs in romford are these trendy ones
and dont allow loads of blokes in em
hornchurch is just down the rd theres some decent pubs there

Agreed, Romfords a sh1thole if you want a decent night out, its punch up central, and also agree about hornchurch, about a mile from your hotel as the crow flies, you could even walk there/crawl back ...and most important you can have a good drink without some twat trying to ruin it.

yep, agree lads, romford is a rowdy shithole, hornchurch high street is small but a few nice bars, restaurants ect
and only five mins from where your staying :daumenhoch:

It might be a struggle to get 30 odd in anywhere..... might have to use some stealth tactics ;D
The Golden Lion at the end of the market place is a trouble free sort of place, but the beer is expensive I'm told.
I'll have a chat to Annoying Ian who runs Rom, he'll sort summat out for a rowdy mob :daumenhoch:
