Well, I have been sitting on this one for a long time, and I have not built a bike for ages.



Here is how I got it, Brought over from New Zealand minus wheels and seat by my elder brother.

I know the colours are not original to the year, but I think it looks very good.

Yes, but its for a U brake. Check out in the first photo, the brake mounts are above the tire.
A U-brake, under the seat stay? That will never catch on  ;D

Very nice mate, what year did Redline make this f&f then? It looks a bit like a redline prototype that was in the US mags in 85  ???

didn't redlines come with a 5inch headtube on them?- bars would be nice and high with a rotor on i bet  :2funny:
i think i may have an old bmx plus test on the bike- will have a look for you , if you want? (give me a week or so to find it though)
