I may be stone age but I did race regularly into the 89 and then tapered off so I can relate.  In fact it was at Brandon track the last year I raced "Regularly" A little into the 90s and a few times this decade

It was a 79 Schwinn Sting.  Good memory   I was Vintage already damn!
