I have tried to sort out my avitar and get one up but it doesnt seem to want to work   :( Can anyone help?

Where is your Avatar?

If your avatar is store in Photobucket or some type of internet photo album then use the 'I have my own pic' option in the Forum Profile option setting in your profile

The address of your avatar will be in the format http://Something1/Something1/avatar.jpg

It will also need to be the correct spelling and is case sensitive.

Most HMTL addresses are finicky little barstewards!

Avatar.jpg does not equal avatar.jpg
avatar.jpg does not equal avatar.JPG

For example my Avatar is
http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff4/moley1971/QuadangleFreestylerCompleteBike.jpg
