Perhaps in  100 years from now, archeologists may dig up some of the old skateparks which have been covered over by car parks. They will scrape off the soil from the vert with their trowels , and try and piece together old photograghs from radbmx to the exact pot where it all happened :)

Unfortunatley, they won't dig up the original upland - it was jack hammered. If you check out poolrider.com or concretedisciples, the video's section has footage of steve alba and keith meek skating it as it's being demolished...  :o Even by todays standards, Blyther's airs @ upland are pretty mighty - those old parks had the sh!test transitions and were kinked beyond belief. I think it was Craig Campbell said that the first time he saw the combi pool (at Upland) it looked like it had about 4 feet of vert!
