Post by: STUMPYLEE on September 21, 2008, 02:04 PM
not sure if i am doing this right
1. in what order do i fit this
2. do i have to knock it into the frame to fit i'm sure it is the right size but it is a bit tight (bit like knocking the bottom bracket cups in)
Thanks for any help but i don't want to knock bits in then find out that i've do it all wrong i've only fitted the cheaper types before  :daumenhoch:

race bearing cup cup bearing race washer nut
knock the race come cup in the top of headtube(like the one on the forks only has a flange with holes in it unerneath.

fit the race over the forks, knock the bottom cup(thing with the sticker on) in the headtube put bearing on race over forks insert  forks into cup through headtube. put bearing over forks onto race, screw on cover(bit with sticker on) put on washer screw on locknut. done.
