Its the 3rd Round of the Winter Series, so come on lads get ya names down!!!!

The 2nd round at Preston was a great day out.  This one should be even better. 
The track is smaller and more suited to OS racing than any other track so its perfect for
any newbies who want to give Old School a try!! :daumenhoch:

If I am able, I will be trackside fluffing for those in need of a pre race suck. During the race I will be on a berm throwing miget gems at the race leaders or possibly sherbert lemons as they make a satisfying visual explosion on impact

This week im gonna have a sneak peek at jt racings new os thunderbolt weapon of ultimate destruction!!

he'll be racing if Bell helmets can melt down 20wheelie bins too create a lid big enough for him!

I have Sugino CT Crankset and a Hanabishi Crankset.

I think they both use a square tapered axle but I'd have to check to see if it suits your needs.

They're not for sale but if you can't acquire one for the weekend then I could bring it so you can use it!!

At least it will give you another month to sort something out!!

Directions For Lytham Gold Coast BMX Club

Head West on the M55 (Toward Blackpool)

Exit Left at Junction 4

Take 1st left (A583/Preston New Road) at Junction 4 Roundabout

Go through the Next Roadabout (Stay Left)

Turn Right at Whitehill Road (At the Next Traffic Lights Just after the Roundabout)

Then Take 1st Left at Peel Road (Virtually on the junction so pay attention)

Stay on Ballam road.  (Keep Right at the big Fork.  If you go down Park View Road then Stop and turn around)

After a Rugby Club Entrance you will see an Entrance to a Car Park.

This is for those of you who are stoopid and can't follow directions.

If you overshoot then head for the Coast Road (A584)

Its the one between the Houses and the Sea!!!

Find Station Road.  Go up it until you reach Westby Street.

Turn Left on to Westby Street. 

Turn Right on to Ballam Road.

Go over the Railway bridge.

The Car Park should be the 2nd Right after the Railway Bridge

The Riders list is filling up!!

If Spaz Diggler can't get his ride past the Officials and everyone else turns up then we should have 2 full gates.

Unless anyone else wants to join the fun!!

I need some oversized Headset Cups in Silver!!

Has anyone got any for sale?

All my headsets are way too loose!!  :(

Dont worry about the plate!!!

If its too wet and ya can't be assed with your plate then ask for one when you register and you will be given a plate along with some string to tie it on with.

If Daz brings those flexfighters then I might be able to lower the stem a little.  At the moment  I have 1" flexfighter installed.

Hope you guys had a good time and the weather held out...  :'( :'( :'(

NOT HAPPY.

Have just got home having spent the best part of the day on the Hard Shoulder of the M61 in my little kangoo van (that now appears to have died... forever!).

3 hours waiting for recovery... Me & Beth with no heater or radio... You can only play eye spy for so long on the hard shoulder of ANY motorway...

R - Road / S - Sky / F - Field / T - Trees / C - Cars / L - Lorry...

We were both really looking forward to racing today and are both GUTTED to have missed Lytham St.Annes...

Think its Crewe... I will deffo be going... The Little Kangoo is now officially retired... it now sports a rather large dint in the driver side door as I laid into it in a Basil Fawlty style rampage on the side of the M61...

I heard today that the venue for the next winter series race is Manchester , while Crewe is having £50,000 being spent on it having tarmac berms and jumps being modified.  :daumenhoch:

Top day racing. Well done to Scary on his 1st venture into the A, and well done JT for popping his cherry, and for taking part in his 1st race.

Well it 's from one extreme to the other in the next round guys. Manchester, for those that haven't ridden, is a fookin long way round and a tad more technical than Lytham.

Time for a public service announcement me thinks.

The Manc track is open 7 days a week until 9.00pm (flodlights), and is mostly council run and open to all. Club night is Thursday 6.00-9.00, so the gate is on then and attracts an increasing amount of regional riders. Also Saturday afternoons is a club session, 3.00-6.00. On the 1st Saturday of each month there is a race meeting during this time and is open to all (think it's £2). It will mostly be made up of local kids, with the odd club member, so not ultra competative. I would imagine if 4 OS riders turned up, they might get their own gate, but can't guarantee. I guess it depends on numbers in other classes.
