Braintree will be in the eastern region though there is some talk of a repeat of the BADBMX vs. Braintree Winter series of last year.

SOUTH Committee meeting on 18th October.  Winter Series will be discussed at that time.  I still question if there is an appetite for a series of races within the Region rather than letting interested clubs run 'open' meetings.  Will report back after meeting.  Humps

dates are as follows:

South Winter Series

16 November @ Bournemouth

7th December @ BADBMX

11 January @ Peckham

15 February @ Hayes

15 March @ Andover

You need to race at 4 meetings to qualify but only the top 8 in each age group gets a trophy.

To race in the above, do you need a licence or be a member of a club.

Or can you just turn up, pay and ride ?????????

You can just turn up and ride at these races, a licence will be required for the Summer series though  :daumenhoch:

Usually they dont mind a newbie turning up to race any meet.

But if you become a regular then they hound you and make sure you get a license!!

Which is good!!  :daumenhoch:

So who is going to this on e then ?????????????

Also will there be other races aswell for other age groups to race in.

I've been on the B'mouth website but it doesn't say much and considering my son is a member of the club, you'd of thought they would be advertising the fact they're racing there soon.

I seriousoly doubt Dagenham would be cancelled, the track holds up in most weathers.  Saying that if there has been heavy rain you'll find an army needed to dig trenches to get the water to drain away.

Unfortunatley I can't make it down to bournemouth this weekend either.

Andy if you are the only oldschooler you'd get chucked in with another class, probably 15+ novice or worse case the 17+ payback class. But think of the 50 OS regional points you'd get :daumenhoch:

Paul, whats a 17+ payback class ??????

I wouldn't want to embarrass myself and still only be half way round when they've all finished.  :LolLolLolLol:

Not bothered about the points mate, i cant race them all myself anyhow.

17+ payback is a class that is basically going to take in, Jnr Men, 19+, 30+ & Cruiser, so is a right mixed back but yes it will have some seriously quick rider in it down to normal rider abilties.

In the North Region.........Any class with 3 or less riders is merged with another class (where possible) and then the classes are split back for series points.

All regions would operate a similar policy.

Go for the 50 pts and just cruise round the track waving to your adoring fans!! :LolLolLolLol:

 :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

That would involve removing one of my hands from the bars Moley, that aint gonna happen mate, i struggle to stay on a bike with both hands on the bars.

I like your thinking though.
