Title: UNIT 23
Post by: Flatcap on October 09, 2008, 10:37 PM
I've been up in Scotland for a few days so I met up with Steve Macky and we took a trip to Unit 23.

One word - AWESOME!

This place is fooking amazing, certainly THE best indoor park I've been to! Yes I love Interact and they reckon Corby is the bobbins (I've yet to go there) but this place is just in another league. Some cool kids there too, we were talking to one lad, real nice attitude as well, he was doing whips, double whips to disasters, bags of style. He didn't do them but we had it good authority that he can...he can do flips. He's been riding for six months, yes, SIX months - WTF! Made me feel like chucking the towel in  ;D

This must be included in one of the Old Fools trips next year.

It's a must Gaz for the Old Fools trip, could do Livi too. I'm sure there's more you know about as well.

Amazing park, and Chick's a top bloke as well, real nice guy.

yes, this park is the uk's largest, and probably the best as it really does have pretty much evrything (apart from vert).

so lucky to have it as my local.

Oh mate....you lucky lucky b@stard!

A vert ramp would just put the icing on the cake but even without it it's still an amazing place. We'll be back again that's for sure so I'll give you a heads up next time we're thinking of going.

Sometimes it's 180, quite often 360, 540 on a good day, rarely 720 and 900 only once..... ::)

i can confirm you will NOT love staying in dumbarton for a couple of nites.
get a hotel in the city centre, and pop out for a few pints, much more fun than glumbarton, the park is first class tho. might catch you around!
