Can anyone out there post a pic please. I had one of these bitd but I haven't seen one chrome jobbie since coming back on to the scene. Where are they all? Would love to build one - but for now I'd be happy just to see a few pics. Cheers in advance, JB :)

Hi Brownie not a full bike but will a frame do.

Check out the price :daumenhoch:

Once again, they have nearly all been powder coated in white (or the odd black or pink one).
Chrome ones are pretty hard to come by in good condition, I'll try and find a pic of mine later.

One of my friends had a chrome one bitd. Maybe worth my while giving him a call and asking if he's still got it stashed away somewhere ;)
Another question - has anyone got one of the 1000 Limited Edition DP Freestyler frames with the DP laser cutout on the rear brake bridge, internal brake channels and original (chrome nickel - I think?) finish?

Cheers Dave. Haven't seen a chrome one since selling mine in 84! Heard them referred to as the Council Estate Freestyler on here a while back. Sadly, it was all I could afford back then. Strangely ironic that I can't find one of them now, regardless of cost!!!
Cheers, JB

Heres mine Brownie....an early one too, serial number is 0490.

So then. How much can you expect to pay for a chrome one today? And how much for other colours? Seen a few frames for sale in white but no forks...are they easy to pick up?
Thanks in advance for all help. :daumenhoch:
-
forks are rare to get em withought the frame.
You can pay anything from £120 - £250 for a frameset.
Waxintaxin was offering his mega fine example for next to nout a few months ago
-
Thanks for that. I'd love a chrome one. If anyone has one that's surplus then gimmie a shout. Cheers, JB :daumenhoch:

I'd want at least £250 for mine! ;)
