i been toying with the idea of doing as close a replica to Cav Strutts Grifter
for a few years now
i just been peeking the pix again
i may have talked myself into finally taking on the task

I used to ride with Cav in the grifter days but mine was kx green now if someone could scan my pictures in of it you will all see it!!?? ???

There was a grifter for sale in the local paper a couple of weeks back. They wanted £30 quid for it

rules are 1" headset and caliper brakes .............. ;D

choppers were awful bikes unless the road was flat and level

might buy a cheap grifter and kit it out and race it in the OS 20" for a laugh, lets see what happens...

Good stuff, I haven't seen Cav since about 1983 - he was a great rider and an all round good bloke :daumenhoch:.

Just don't invite Gary Morgan, ( 40+ Brits winner ) as he used to win nationals on a converted grifter in the late 80's. ;D
