seen as there a few peeps on here that rode both places like andy {angry brown} and colin any one else ride both places . be cool to find out who else rode there as every time i went to meanwhile 2 there was always different people there,shame when the skater`s nicked the quarter pipe as they already took the other one . .didn`t ride meanwhile gds much due to the mugging`s that went on there . anyone got any pics as i never ever took my camera

I always get the two confused........ but, I rode the gardens ( i think) a few times with Marco Lara. Completely safe with that dude ;)

meanwhile gds was westbourne park and meanwhile 2 was up the road ,royal oak station i think ,it had two ramps at one time underneath the westway and round the corner was a bowl which skate`s used as too small for bikes . great place to go when raining unless really windy as blew the rain underneath ,dodge area tho as loads of mugging always going on at mw gds all the time .
the ramps at mw 2 were against a wall that was painted with a very large mural and it still there now with the numbers of feet going up the wall all the way to 11 feet where you used to see lee reynolds and greg guillote get up to . anyone know who built the ramps as i never knew

skated meanwhile 2 a couple of times. looking back I wish I'd have ridden it, the channel was fun. dodgy area though.

:) I used skate at Meanwhile 2 mid to late 80`s.Sorry no pics though.Anyone remember Mark Gonzales ollieing the gap,made it it on to a cover of RAD mag?

the original meanwhile gds did have a quarter put on top of one of the bowls well peices of wood to make it near vert . beware if go to meanwhile gds or 3 as gets very busy with skater`s that use all 3 bowls . great pub around the corner tho

i used to ride meanwhile and was chingford local
during the time you are talkin about and long after
that.where else?canterlowes,tlakre-the place in camden
that has long gone,horse shoe shape bowl with railing
round the out side that was jumped a few times.
vauxhall banks,a lot of old places are gone now....
