a couple of weeks ago  i was at the skatepark on a Tuesday afternoon, and there was only me and Ron there. For a laugh I set my bike up  on the front wheel  on the ptatform ready for a backwards drop in- , then asked if he would still be able to do it.

"yeah probably"  was his reply...

Here's denny's footage of Ron doing a miami hopper drop in at holeshot

oh unfortunately YES.  what a mong.  that was the night will and grant ran up the $200 bill calling the UK..  the abusive phone calls mutt made to the listed numbers when he got the bill were fantastic... (!)
i saw him again 3 years later, but i hid behind a ramp.

"ever heard a retard masturbating?" was the legendary quote that sticks in my head, this coming from karl townsend who chose to live with him for like 6 months... 1 night was too much!!

Ron is awesome. Both he and 2 Hip seem to get a lot of flack from the new school crowd these days, which considering the amount Ron has done for the sport and how good he still is and how many unknown riders he has brought into the limelight from obscurity is really unfair. I know Ron is a little unusual in his attitude and his marketing, but I always felt that he should have done much better than he has, but knowing Ron, I'm sure he's more than happy with his lot in life.

Wonderful to see ron back on a pipe again, he was allways souch a smooth rider.
I can remember well the first time i saw him do that backwards drop in, took me months to even try it (think i still have the gravel rash scar  :-[
