I had a really good day today, twas fun and productive, I felt better and shit.
I watched as JTSchmooove was harassed by R AL all day and Sandro was a-flying :shocked: so I reckon they both deserve a lingering muscle squeeze from Purple Aki, as they are both most improved student candidates :4_17_5:
As usual GayTee Smooth was too good, well done mate :daumenhoch:

another cool day racin, not a very good show from the monkey hangers tho :( gearbox got us home, just, dan's freewheel exploded n bren felt under the weather and my plan to assassinate beard failed ;D sorry dude, that berm just kinda throws ya. knockin shoulders n rubbin tyres was the order of the day, enjoyed it lots :daumenhoch:

A great day, the sun was shining and some great racing!!
Big942 was kicking some ass today and a A final showing for Betty.
And for a newbie, Peter J was giving me a run for my money!! I should have brought a pit bike for him to ride!! :D
Sandro was flying again and R Al put in a good showing at his home track!!
Twas a shame about Dan's Freewheel because he would have been in the mix too!! :(
And a shame Bren was too ill to race the B Final.
Videos are being converted and will be up in about an hour (or two)

Yeah, I was hoping for another backmarker to improve my points!!
My starts are shite so I wasn't surprised that he was ahead of me but not that fecking far!!!! :D
It took me half the track to catch him up!! :(

The racing today was first class and everyone has really upped their game... sadly I was going backwards!!! I'm making excuses but my knees are totally shot...!!! my right knee has a stack of fluid on the inside and I think its gonna be a trip see my GP ::) I have a choice to make... Football or BMX... ???? no competition..... Riders Ready! Watch the Gate!!! :4_17_5:
Riders who stood out for me today... were Sandro... who has really got his stuff together!!! Hartlepool & Coppull have been amazing for him.. Chewy who got off to great starts and in the B' Final I gave it everytyhing I had (wrecked knees as well..!!) to catch him and he beat me by the tread of a Comp III tyre!!! nice riding Chewy and great fun.
As others have said... great to see Russ' riding properly again!! and BigG was mixing it with the big boys which was fantatstic to see...
Everyone did great.. good to see the new guys lining up... 3 years ago.. Myself, Phil Critchlow,and 2 others lined up in what was considered a decent turn out! :-[ ;D now we got TWO FULL gates on a regular basis...

Cheers Ade for the filming and Moley for the bribe :daumenhoch: it was good to watch myself on the big bikes, I've got a bit of work to do. Rather fortuitous in making the A final but 'hey ho' :)
Good bit of os racing today,I certainly missed it, great snap by Al in the final but jt again, who's gonna beat him , I had to change to cruiser cos I couldn't :)

Really enjoyed the track - very different.
Old School looked good as always.
Thought cruiser was good close racing. Well done to Andy on the A final. Very impressed.
Can't wait for Crewe - need to get practicing.
Off now to watch the video footage and work out why I keep getting boxed in at the start. ;D ;D ;D
