jtsmooth should get that sequence blown up into a poster!!! top top camera work....
You can see how the stem collapsed!!! its the weight of his body on the right handside of his bars, as it jabs into his gut...!!! :shocked: :shocked:

I could see him out of the corner of my eye and I thought he was gonna send me flying.
Its amazing how something so unspectacular can cause so much damage. I bet if he did a triple somersault and landed on his head then he'd probably just walk away with a few bruises. But the small unspectacular incidents always seem to be worse!! :-\
Look at JT's and 45GT and Greg's crashes!! Huge crash, no problem!! Life is cruel!! :(

Was up at MrSmooths yesterday inspecting the damage , to his bike that is :D That was one knackered stem mate :LolLolLolLol:
Got some good battle scars too ;D

:LolLolLolLol: reflexes dude, i may be old but im still stong n lusty :LolLolLolLol: i just saw him tumbling in front of me n thought i was just gonna plough through hin n then over my bars, i don't really know how i managed to miss him to be honest as i was flyin down the back of them whoops with a brake as powerfull as a gnats fart, the amount of carnage i've had in front of me the last couple of series is unbelievable, but good practice for dodging bodies :LolLolLolLol: it looked awesome from where i was mind :daumenhoch: slowed me down tho, inconsiderate b@st@rd! :LolLolLolLol: big fall dude, cool ya not badly hurt :daumenhoch:

whoa thats mental - missing you guys down here cant wait for the carnage to begin that is MK09 - btw we raced there last weekend and the track is suffering badly... hopefully they can get some surface down before we all start ripping it up again....

Anyhoo - glad you guys are keeping it alive - just a foot note the Southern OSS officially died last weekend first regional for years without a single OS bike.... shed a tear i did....

Thats bad news that no OS riders turned up!
Dan smashed his foot in the picture of him above, proper bad news.
I have a nice collection of gravel rash and bruising, stem head has come off shaft and front wheel was rather wobbly ;D

rest of the regionals are as follows:
5th July Hayes
2nd August Gosport
23rd August Bournemouth
6th September Herne Bay
Big Kev and Magoo took another tumble at hersden last week i think so not sure whether they will be racing anyway.
Might be worth entering OS but getting put in with masters... at least youll get a good race...

Glen and Crooch, ya should get up to Lytham for Rnd 6 for some practice before MK09.
The track maybe small and very OS friendly but the action will be just as exciting.
Plus the B&B's will be cheap too!!
Hopefully the Scots will make an appearance too! :daumenhoch:

Would be good to see you fella's and the Scots again but its a long trek for
a fairly tame track...........IMO

I think it's possibly the nearest
Hartlepool is deffo one of the best tracks of the Northern region :4_17_5:

Hartlepool is my favourite too!!
I was talking to a Hartlepool chappy before I left and he said he was going to organise events/races for the Saturday night so that any campers will have plenty to do!!
