And i have to say, its a funny feeling knowing its never been a bike in its history. Not been a twat, but i have been building nigh on 5 years and never had a nos one before. Customs still took a chunk like :Aresehole:

There out there Paul, I would say you would have more chance finding some plastic Nos/Mint Tuffs than alloys, I have had two pairs, one white, one Blue, but having said that, the rear will be a coaster & steel :-\
-
I sold Si some mint white uns last year, real nice alloy hubbs to :-[, i can wait though, gonna try and pick up the rare stuff first Chris b2s anyone :LolLolLolLol:

:coolsmiley:
-
Nice one Paul !
About Tuffs, think those 85 Masters came originally with 2x alloy hubbed ones, then one ally one plastic (front), that was the improvement from Skyway at the time and then 2 plastic hubs front and rear...(more likely 86 models?)
hard to tell dates, guess they were so many minor changes, including in the suppliers stuff,
remember they were just kids bikes, and in high demand at the time
Like Chris, remember seeing the 2 types of hubs, sorry don't have right now
-
Just had a gander and mine aint got the knurling, good idea adding it though :daumenhoch:
Can't wait to see it built up for mk10 mate :) thats if i'm sober :buck2: ::)
:LolLolLolLol:

yes mate, just seen them,$250,I hope it was a cheeky bid you made him ;D,I managed to grab some NOS white ones last week,i prefer the white so will see what they are going on,did you see the dominator for $350,apparently they are super rare with the blue logo....is that right?
-
Very nice Paul :daumenhoch: .
Will be good to see it at MK , take your time & do it justice ;)
That import stuff ( tax/vat/handling ) at £26.00 sounds good to me , I got billed for £ 100.00 once ( but they were a $ 800.00 set of wheels ! :D ) .
-
I have some were used white ones Jon, i like em to, but gonna go the Black route :daumenhoch:
