You do NOT need a Silver BCF Membership to race the OS Winter Series.

So all you tightwads out there have no fookin' excuse!!   

Just turn up and pay your entrance fees on the day!!   

RADBMX ID, Number Plate and Weapon of OS Destruction Please.   

REMEMBER!!!   OS Racing is all about fun and trying to stay on the bike.  So all you newbies out there who want to have a dabble then dont wait and dont worry.  We're a great bunch of lads.  Whatever physical condition your in or skills your lacking, you'll still be appreciated.  Its all about the CRAIC!!  :daumenhoch:

If any Midlands, Southern or Scottish OS Riders fancy a trip up/down to Crewe then you'll be more than welcome.   But prepare for a good ass whupping!!   ;D

Full Face Helmet, Long pants and long sleeve jersey and Gloves are minimum requirements.   I suggest Shin/Kneepads and Elbow pads.  Body Armour wouldn't go a miss either!!  ;)

the track was built by trail riders ,,as such the jumps are massive and kick you up at the slightest oppertunity

nothing to worry about mate , last time i was there was my first time racing ever ! i did it on a titan which i consider to be much too small for a 6 2" fatty like me . i may  have another crack at it on my new race steed to defend my last of the last place .

Crewes not so bad ya bunch of girls, as long as you dont try clearing the pro section that is :idiot2:

Just pump the jumps and suck them up with your legs - you will be fine.

My first Moto at preston I was even beat by the guy that fell off !!  :LolLolLolLol:

p.s My bike is still in one piece (moley's building is top notch  :daumenhoch: ) and I sorted the crank arm as well.

I used a sort of file bit on a dremel in the inside of the hole just enough to get a socket on the bolt.

Not sure if it's enough to get the flush bolts in though. I didn't want to take too much off it.

I really enjoyed Crewe in the summer, weather was fantastic, great turn out, fast racing and a real good laugh..

Simone Flatcrap Diggler will be there  ;)

He's been doing loads of bike training a minimum of 3 times a week  , I kid you not

and has been calling me a fag for not turning up to play oot  :-[

as I' m currently not fit for BMX with injuries not healing fully ( both hamstrings now and tender heel from Preston regional )

He's gonna spank you Moleyman  >:D

not going to make this one lads.

just been to the docs as a result of my fall at preston.

I have damaged nerves in my elbow and cant ride for a month. have to go to hospital tomorrow for an injection in the joint  :'(  and rest it.

If you've got an OS BMX then race.   If you live nearby then you can get plenty of practice in before the 8th!!

No Membership fees or licence.   Just £8 to race on the day!!

Plenty of newbies racing at Crewe.   And if you can survive Crewe then you can survive any track!!

So dont be soft and get on ya bike!!  :daumenhoch:

You'll be fine, its an excellent track just make sure you dont take the left hand lane when you get to the Pro Section (unless you bring a lawn mower....)

Just been out jumping kerbs on my new OS ride,  a '91 GT Pro XL (fitted with all the sh1t parts off my Mongoose Cali for now though  :().

Feels loads better than the Goose - hopefully I'll stay on this bike for more than half of my races at Crewe.

Dont know why people dont like Crewe track, its so smooth to ride. The jumps are big but you dont have to jump them to get round quickly.

Registration is between 10am  and 11am.   Racing will start around 12-12:30pm

This is a good round!!

Most of the puffs are out of this one meaning more points for the rest of us!!

Make sure you get there early (around 10am) so that you can have a practice.  Take it very easy on your first run.  Its a fast track and fairly technical but its smooth as owt and its downhill!!  :daumenhoch:

Great days racing, was good to catch up with people again and have some banter.

Crewe track is silky smooth and very rideable, guess the lack of crashing shows this.

Very pleased to have made my first A final, although the sheer speed of everyone was a real eye opener  :shocked: got some work to do.

Being next to Oggy in the gate was an experiance, as soon as the beeps started he was already moving - I though f*ck wheres he going  ;D

Top stuff... really enjoyed the racing at Crewe. My favorite track so far, rewarding if you get it right but really punished if you lost rhythm.

The fast guys looked real good...super smooth.

It was nice to be in the Mix a bit in the B-Final rather than just watching everyone race off ahead.

Top bunch of lads...always feel so welcome so thanks for that.  :daumenhoch:

I rode an 83 kuwi for a season...I was keepin it real maaaaaan..............................it was shit so I got something longer,

mind you it was alot of work to cut the brake lugs off, reduced the 1 1/8 headtube to 1", get my XLT raceforks threaded, have the carbon frame painted chrome  and disguise my spd pedals as DX's. Oh I nearly forgot, I wear modern clothing too but cleverly disguise it as eighties by making sure fook all matches, oh and whenever possible I like to dance with absolutely no rhythm whatsoever to wank music.

I am so Eighties it fooking hurts my fingerless glove laiden hands
