In the 80's round this neck of the woods they were the only lights deemed cool enough to have on your BMX. My Dad still uses my old one to see where he's going in the shed and i know neil (Region11) still has his, anyone else???

i run wonder lights for a while on my fox 4styler
2 rear mounts was the thing to get
i stole a few wonder lights off other peoples bikes too. hehe
they were the only bike lights to have
-
I still had one knocking around til a few months ago but chucked it out. They were THE light....the ONLY light to have.....but...as you would have seen if I had continued to print pages from my 1985 diary...after getting them for xmas, some time in Jan I broke the bracket that held it and got a b*llocking :(
-
I had them on the Murray ;D
There was a set on the bay a couple of weeks ago, so bound to be another set turning up soon :daumenhoch:
-
I had them too, on my Mongoose and possibly on the Race Inc too. I was a regular to blackheath dips and Lee Green where my riding buddies lived, and more often than not I would be riding home in the dark so the lights were a must :daumenhoch:
-
Soon as i find some batteries I'll be allowed to ride my bike when it gets dark ;D

:LolLolLolLol:

yeah i had em too, remember they always moved after you did a jump, had to put bits of old inner tube between the clamp and the frame to stop them moving
they are massive compared to modern lights, but were usefull as you could unclip them and use them as torches in derelict houses!
-
cool thread :daumenhoch:
i also had them on my bmx back in the day and have been looking for a pair to use on my bike now
can you still get the batteries for them ? as the batteries where quite big and flat with long connectors
-
I found a couple of bits from a bracket in my old BMX bag the other day - I just wonder what happened to the rest of it??!!
-
