Title: 90's Parts: Year Made and Price Guide Mag Scans
Post by: kev-s on August 29, 2011, 12:32 PM: Was thinking the other day that its getting harder to remember what parts were around, at what prices and what year new parts were being made.

So i thought if we could get people with old 90's ride mags to scan some of the large mail order ads from the likes of custom riders, Cyclesport, Billys etc... and post them in here so if you're looking for what components were around in 1995 for your build you can see what different parts were available.

So if someone can post a nice large clear scan of a late 1990 ride mail order ad then a 1991 ad and so on until we reach the year 2000 so they are in order then you can down the page and see what year certain parts appear :daumenhoch:

we also need 98,99 & 2000 scans as we have none!!!

the ones we have so far i have saved in photobucket, on my pc and on my external harddrive so there not going anywhere!

some look hard to read, ill see if i can clean/improve them a bit

unfortunately most of them are are not clear and large enough to read properly, ive tried to clean em up and enlarge but with no luck

maybe someone else can try??

Post by: Dannywhac on March 10, 2014, 01:13 PM: Right - have cleaned up the thread, done some Photoshopping on some of the images, put em all in year order with no breaks in-between.

Also some of the images are now hosted by Rad so no worries of losing any. I've had to shrink a couple of them (as they were 3mb+) but have done it so you can still read what's on em.

I've got all the original images saved as has Kev-S so any future probs we'll still have the files :)
