for the ultimate hardcore bashguard/gring disk, you need an 1inch thick proper nylon chopping board and go D.I.Y style :coolsmiley: chris hardy and the sheffield riders all used to ride them, including mr G-SPORT himself George French.. pre "SPOCKET POCKET" by havoc 1989/90 ;) ;) ;) ;)

what about the notts local who rode a haro sport with coasterbrake skyways and abubured(spelt wrong?)/blunted every bench and headtube high wall in Nottingham, the guys a street-bmx legend but I cant remember his name.. super hardcore S.O.B

Yes indeed we did. It wasn't pre-havoc, just a cheaper and more easily available substitute. The chopping boards were £1 each from Spoils kitchen reject shop at the bottom of fargate. The plastic was too soft though so they didn't last long.

the first time I met chris hardy was in 1993 riding street in leeds, he was on a homeless soul bro with one of those D.I.Y grinddisks 8) 8) 8) 8)
