Title: Robinson Pro 24
Post by: nobby on May 13, 2021, 07:40 PM
Does anybody know much about the above ?

I bought it 20 years ago as a complete bike ( mostly cheap parts ) but i've got the build bug since finishing my 83 Quad, and fancy another project that i'll be able to source parts for easier than the 1984 Curtis Pro F+F.

Fantastic looking frame, and the quality of welds etc looks superb. my biggest criticism would be the geometry, as the front end feels welded to the floor. i cant imagine anybody being able to manual jumps on this.

Thanks in advance as always  :daumenhoch:

Let's see some pictures...What year is it? Many of the early race cruisers had geometry that kept the nose down for racing, manualling rhythm sections wasn't really a thing then...

Looks a bit ropey at the minute as it's spent the last 15 years in my attic gathering dust.

I believe the frame is circa 1997.

Finally got this finished. Would like a decent wheel set and original forks to fully complete, but both are like hens teeth to source.
