Ha ha, 4 motos, 2 crashes for me!
I was pushing the 2 leaders hard and had minor spills in the 1st and 4th motos.
I didn't realise I'd loosened my bars in the 1st moto (and split my stem pad) so I wobbled round in the 2nd moto with bars moving back and forward like a circus bike. The 4th moto saw me make a mess of the speed jump and then go for a mental 1-footed manual through the double.

Anyway 5 OS riders on the gate and good fast racing all round

well done to Richie on the overall win

(I think Rooski won a moto)

My left foot/ankle currently not working so hope it's working by Sunday (I'll be there whatever).

Aye, was good and close. One slipped pedal and you go from near the front to dead last. I'm definitely gonna get some skate/BMX shoes with a bit of support.

"Round 4 of the Club's Summer race series 'Battle in the Saddle'.

Plenty of trophies/medals to be won and world cup merchandise to give away as prizes.
All standards of racers catered for-from Superclass to Dads who should know better.
Only £3 to enter

Gate up to the track will be open from around 6.30pm.

Racing will start as soon as we get everyone registered and everything set up.

Hopefully around 7.15pm

As usual everyone welcome and all equipment available to borrow free of charge.
If you want to borrow a Club bike for the race please book it prior to the event.
This helps us to know how many bikes to bring to the track on what is a busy night."

Aye, really good turnout tonight considering injuries, family stuff and everything else that people have to contend with.

Great to see NHOJ jr doing well in F5 and my lad Francis being moved up to F4 and holding his own with a few older kids.
rooski - the fast turnaround of motos is great for the fitness aint it
