This is a new Poll. I have got the club dates for Coppull, Scotland and Preston. Plus the 3 race Inter Club Series (Coppull, Manchester and Crewe).

Inter Club Series 2010
21st Nov - Inter Club Rnd 1 at Coppull
23rd Jan - Inter Club Rnd 2 at Manchester
20th Feb - Inter Club Rnd 3 at Crewe

Coppull Winter Club Series 2010 (subject to change)
14th Nov - Coppull Rnd 2
12th Dec - Coppull Rnd 3
16th Jan - Coppull Rnd 4
13th Feb - Coppull Rnd 5
13th Mar - Coppull Rnd 6

Scottish Winter Series 2010
31st Oct - Glasgow Rnd 2
21st Nov - Glasgow Rnd 3
12th Dec - Glasgow Rnd 4
2nd Jan - Glasgow Rnd 5
23rd Jan - Glasgow Rnd 6
20th Feb - Glasgow Rnd 7
13th Mar - Glasgow Rnd 8

Preston Winter Club Series 2010
7th Nov - Preston Rnd 1
5th Dec - Preston Rnd 2
9th Jan - Preston Rnd 3
6th Feb - Preston Rnd 4
6th Mar - Preston Rnd 5

The Poll above is Date ordered. Some Races are on the same date i.e Glasgow Rnd 8 and Coppull Rnd 6 (13th March 2011). If you could make either then tick both. If you have a preference then just tick what you'd prefer.

You could select all 19 options but in the end they will be whittled down to 5 or 6 races where most Old Skoolers can attend.

If anyone has any other club dates or changes then LMK ASAP.

I'd like to try and get in the Inter Club Series and I have 2 clashes :- 12th Dec 2011 and 13th March 2011 (both Glasgow/Coppull)

I'd be happy racing in Glasgow as my last 2 races at Coppull have resulted in injury!!

I'd also throw in the Preston March 6th one for getting in shape for the new season.

I haven't selected the others because I'm not making an effort to race them. I might, I might not. Also all races are subject to unforeseen circumstances that might stop me racing. But at the moment, these dates are free and I'd like to race 'em.

Please give comments if you have any. This is a democracy and views do count. If no one wants to race the Inter Club Series then I'd be willing to change my dates to accommodate!!

Manc is 23rd Jan

Manc has not set any Winter Dates yet and they will probably all be on Saturday afternoon anyway.

Crewe hasn't set any dates yet either.

These are all the dates I have, so I have listed them..................to stop Smoothy whinging!!

Barnard hasn't got a Date set (Should be ready in Jan but not definite).....................and when it does then we'll swap it with a Preston or some other date.

If you are available for a date then it should be an easy swap unless your too fickle to travel!!

You probably didn't read the last poll that Jon The Bassist replied to.....................he asked Bradford and they weren't prepared to put on a sunday race before Xmas. So unless we can get a date out of them (which might be after Xmas) then they are not on the list because they wont set a date (if they ever put on a Sunday meet).

If they come up with something in the new year then we can discuss it then..........................The same with Barnard. As soon as they say they are ready then we can arrange something.

I will repeat myself.............I will repeat myself...................This is a poll for all the dates available AT THIS TIME. If someone has any more dates then I will start a new poll and we can start again (for the umpteenth time).

Select all the dates you think you can make and if there are 2 or 3 venues for a date then select the venues your prepared to travel to.............simples!!

Aye, the 19th December was too near Christmas for Bradford club to get all the volunteers needed for marshalling/finsh line/reg etc.
They've said that their winter club race dates (Tuesdays) will be out soon. It's up to us then to suggest one of those suitable races and ask it to be moved to a Sunday.
I'll update you all as soon as I know

Can I suggest that of the races that get included in the series, we only need to to race at half of them to qualify for a final position? It should keep folks happier about not being able to make some of the dates.

Oh, and are you gonna put the results/points on your OSRACING website? Or has it been overrun with cobwebs?

The poll will stay open until Monday and then we'll start hammering out a schedule. Then everyone can argue over it and then it will give me time to start again!!

I want to hear the views of the NE and Scots lads as they have the furthest to travel................please show which ones you think you can make as the polls might just show the popular meets that NorthWest lads want.

That way we can choose the races that the NE/Scots lads support as well as overall support from the rest of us. I wont be fun if you nutjobs aren't in attendance!!

i think the more hassle you get is a good sign of commitment and enthusiasm for the oldschool series so whatever happens i think numbers will still be high in the summer, oooooooooooooooo summer, sun n shit, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

FFS Jon. I just started a poll and had to delete it after it had been up for 20 seconds.

If Bradford is a definite then here are my revised conclusions........

I think with this years Winter Blow out and the fact that Heywood and Barnard aren't fully available yet.................

......also the fact that if all of the races are at Coppull then it really becomes a club meet and not a proper series.......

So I propose these.........

21st Nov - Inter Club Rnd 1 at Coppull
12th Dec - Glasgow Rnd 4
19th Dec - Bradford
23rd Jan - Inter Club Rnd 2 at Manchester
20th Feb - Inter Club Rnd 3 at Crewe
6th Mar - Preston Rnd 5
Feb/Mar - Barnard Castle

If Barnard can get sorted then we'll set a date for it in early February or Mid March before the Summer Series kicks off.

I'll give reasons :-
1. This is all the dates we know of at this time.
2. We can keep umming and arghhhhing time the cows come home. Lets make a decision and get it rolling.
3. Each race is at a Different Venue.
4. The Glasgow race is a tough travel..............but the Tartan army can manage it so why can't we.
5. This series of races doesn't stop you from racing any other club meets on any other date. If you dont want to race at Glasgow and you want to race Coppull instead then thats up to you. Your a big boy now and you can make decisions for yourself.
6. I can start Riders lists for this OS Winter Series meets and the Club Meets (if it doesn't clash). If it does clash then feel free to start your own Riders list and poach.
7. Betty would like some free dates to organise some Skatepark meets.

I will start a Poll.

It will be a simple Yes/No poll.

I genuinely thought Dec 19th wasn't possible... then I got an email tonight saying that it was!

If people can't make individual events then no-ones' gonna mind.
