I got one of Porkchop's copy Suntour stems. These are £30 inc postage, cheap enough for a cheap build I thought, as pucker red Suntour's fetch easily £80, but you get what you pay for, and there are a few knocks on the top. This would bug a lot of people, but it will be covered with a pad so not a problem with me though.

Be warned though, if you're tempted to buy on and want a 'show' finish.

...a J2 number plate! A what? A now, fairly rare number plate that was made in Colorado in '83-4 apparently. It's now started its journey from Puerto Rico back to Colorado then will wing its way over to Japan with a box of other stuff that I've been stockpiling at my mate's house over there!
