79/80 Thruster Vanishing Point
« on: January 29, 2013, 07:04 PM »
Here is my Thruster Vanishing Point.

Could be 78 to 81....who knows! (Speed Unlimited didn't do serial numbers).

1st Generation, round brake ridge, Speed Decals, 18.5 tt.

One thing to note about this....it doesn't have a gusset behind the BB, anyone shed any light on this?

Yes it is.

Chrome is good on both but the VP is the best of them.

I got the Tri-Power from the same seller too.  :daumenhoch:

The Bi-Power was the last stab at BMX production for Speed Unlimited. They started putting serial numbers on them circa 84'

The instant difference to the eye is no gusset at the headtube and i think they used some aero type tubing on the TT and BT.
