This I found as a NOS frame set in Switzerland some time ago. I built it and lost the love for it almost immediately. I dragged it out of the man cave and decided to give it a facelift. Out went the Skyways and in came the Arayas, front 880 was added and the stem. A change of pads followed and a layback fitted. It's 99% complete in my eyes, I just need that elusive GT BMX green world tour seat then it's done!

All bits were used with the exception of the wheels and the stem.

1985 GT World Tour Frame & Forks (US made)
GT Stem
GT Epoch head set
GT Performer bars
GT layback seat post
GT seat clamp
GT tyres
GT pedals
GT World Tour pads
A'me mountain bike grips (bubble font and era correct. I rode these grips BITD)
DC Tech V & 880/901 combo and DC pads
Araya 7x on Suzue LF hubs
Sugino 175mm crank
Tuf Neck disc
Pro Neck ring
Izumi chain
Viscount 2169 seat. Same model as GT seat but missing the embossed lettering  :-[

Lovely bikes again this month,

it was a tough decision but just down to it's originality & the amount of work that went in to it plus the fantastic build thread that i found really useful I ad to vote for the Nike Bike.  ;D
